The Greek Society of Cinematographers (GSC) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new award for Best Cinematography in short films.
The need to reward and showcase the work of young filmmakers and others in the demanding genre of short films has led us to create the 
Our new award will follow the same procedure as the GSC Award for feature films, which for nine years has been the Association’s premier event.
The following are eligible to participate:
All members of the Association, regardless of the production in which they have participated.
Greek filmmakers/non-members of the Association who have participated in Greek productions and/or Greek majority co-productions.
Foreign filmmakers who have participated in Greek productions and/or Greek majority co-productions.
Finally, all regular and honorary members of the Greek Filmmakers Association are eligible to participate in the final vote.
The first GSC Short Film Award will begin in 2026, and information on how to submit the application form will be provided.
